Privacy Policy

Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization Hospital respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data submitted through the complaint / suggestion system, in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

1. Personal data we collect

• Information you provide: name, address, phone number, email, complaint subject and details, and any files you attach.
• Technical data collected automatically to the extent necessary for security and operation (e.g. IP address, date/time of submission).

2. Purposes of processing

• To receive, review, and resolve complaints and suggestions.
• To contact you regarding your case and its progress.
• To improve the quality of hospital services and to produce anonymised statistics and reports.

3. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent, our legitimate interest in improving service quality, and the performance of a public task by the hospital.

4. Disclosure

Your data is shared only with relevant internal hospital units for the purpose of handling your case. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Subject to the PDPA, you may request to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: a session cookie (PHCARESESS) for security, and a lang cookie to remember your language preference. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data.

10. Governing language

This policy is provided in Thai and English. In case of any discrepancy or difference in interpretation between the two versions, the Thai version shall prevail.
